I’m starting to fall…in all the right places

It’s hard to believe that it has only been 3 weeks since I first found out about my “temporary setbacks” but it seems like it has been a lot longer since I have been paying so much attention to the little details of life.

First update to report:  After 3 weeks, I have already dropped one pant size!!

The food can definitely be a challenge at times, it can be overwhelming to cut out everything at once.  For the last 3 weeks I have cut out soda, pasta, candy, rice, bread, cereal etc completely.  I have had a bite or two here and there just to taste and once I have my taste, I feel satisfied and have no desire to dive in for the rest.  Having these setbacks are definitely a more motivating source than it would have been before because you can cut things out, but then people can tumble and fall off the wagon, but when you have no other real choice, it really changes your perspective.

Little changes I have made in the interim, include purposely parking a little further so I have a walk a little more to get where I am going.  I was one of those people who would purposely circle the lot a few times to find a parking spot up close and now I don’t think about it.  I just park and walk.  It’s little changes like that that can make a huge difference.

Thanks to my Chiropractor, Dr. Craig Ross, I have been taking herbal supplements to help cleanse my body and rejuvinate my insides to be healthy, along with drinking a lot more water and watching what I eat for each and every meal of the day.

I also met with a good friend and Hypnotherapist, Linda Weisner, who helped me with stress reduction and a great display of guided visualization.  I felt such a high weight had been lifted (no pun intended, or maybe it WAS intended) and I am so relaxed and ready to embrace the clean slate I have started.

I am so looking forward to my first vacation ever in Maui.  We leave on Friday and come back next Friday.  I think its the last piece of the puzzle for the full reconstruction of self.  I will come back stronger, refreshed and ready to conquer the world!

Thank you all for your continued support.  I hope to keep this going throughout my entire journey and beyond, so please, if you feel that this may help you or someone you know, please spread the word.  Love you all!
