She’s a simple girl Living in a complex world She’s seeking change in the anonymous faces of life.
Her dreams have been clouded by poverty her goals cast aside while she is seeking spare change. For that dirty woman you see asking for a handout used to live in the 1% range.
Money talked but it talked too much and whatever she had, never seemed to be enough.
Her inner child’s laugh has been swallowed and replaced with the uncertainty-induced sadness. She watches her fingers rummage through the piles of paper from collectors and bills in absolute madness.
She’s fighting to stay afloat but her oars have been widdled down to toothpicks from hastily puddling towards the shore. So she drifts in the sea, alone with her thoughts and she listens around her, she heard some voices talk.
“I am the ocean, I’m wide and I’m deep. There’s plenty of room for your troubles, I can keep Release them to me and I’ll wash them away from this moment on, you can have a clean slate. To travel to your personal top, you have to fight to win and when you need some guidance, just talk to the wind”
“I am the wind, I travel all lands so whenever you need me, just hold out your hands. You need time for yourself, you need time to play so give me your stress, and I’ll dissolve them away. If your stuck and need direction, just point out and say, ‘I need to go there’ and I’ll whisk you away”
With toothpicks in hand, she paddles to shore for once she stands stable, feet firm on the floor the Sun casts its light and dries up her tears so she now walks tall and proud, dismissing her fears with a clear head and mind, she heads for the door with the ocean as her guide and the wind to help soar.
